Evans Velo Zone® Certification Terms & Conditions

These Certification Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to certification programs, educational programs, and related credentialing offerings provided by SAEvansJr Performance LLC, operating as Evans Performance®, including the Evans Velo Zone® Platform Certification and any other Evans Velo Zone® certification programs offered from time to time.

‍

By enrolling in, purchasing, accessing, or completing an applicable certification program, you agree to these Terms.

Completion of an applicable certification confirms that the participant has satisfied the educational and assessment requirements established by Evans Performance® for that program.

‍

Certification does not transfer ownership of Evans Velo Zone®, EVZ™, RPI™, associated methodologies, diagnostic frameworks, software, scoring systems, educational materials, trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property.

‍

Eligibility

Evans Velo Zone® certification programs are intended for coaches, trainers, strength and conditioning professionals, sport-performance professionals, clinicians, educators, students in related fields, and other individuals working in or studying relevant disciplines.

‍

Evans Performance® reserves the right to establish or modify eligibility requirements for individual programs and to determine enrollment eligibility where reasonably necessary.

Participation in an Evans Velo Zone® certification does not itself authorize a participant to perform services that require a professional license, registration, or credential under applicable law.

‍

Certification Requirements

Certification is awarded upon successful completion of the educational modules, required assessments, final examination, and any other requirements established for the applicable program.

‍

Participants are responsible for:

• Completing all required educational content and assessments
• Meeting applicable passing standards
• Maintaining accurate enrollment and account information
• Completing work honestly and independently
• Complying with applicable program policies

‍

Evans Performance® may establish reasonable identity-verification, examination-integrity, or completion requirements where necessary to protect the integrity of the certification.

‍

Certification Status

Successful completion of an Evans Velo Zone® certification permits the participant to accurately represent that they have completed the applicable certification program.

‍

Certification represents completion of Evans Performance® educational and assessment requirements. It does not constitute:

• An academic degree
• A medical credential
• A healthcare license
• A professional license issued by a governmental authority
• Authorization to practice outside the participant’s lawful professional scope
• Endorsement by a third-party credentialing organization unless expressly stated

‍

Certification status is personal to the individual who completed the program and may not be transferred to another individual.

‍

After successful completion of the applicable certification requirements, certification remains earned unless suspended or revoked in accordance with these Terms.

Intellectual Property Ownership

‍

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Evans Velo Zone® system and related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of SAEvansJr Performance LLC or the applicable rights holder.

Protected materials may include, without limitation:

• Evans Velo Zone®
• Evans Performance®
• EVZ™
• RPI™
• Evans Velo Zone Wave® and related diagnostics
• Certification curricula
• Educational materials
• Course videos and presentations
• Assessment and examination materials
• Diagnostic frameworks
• Developmental models
• Scoring systems
• Decision-support logic
• Terminology and taxonomies
• Reports and report structures
• Software
• Platform architecture
• Graphics
• Templates
• Written materials
• Proprietary methods, processes, and frameworks

‍

Except for the limited professional-use rights expressly granted under these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to participants.

‍

Permitted Professional Use

While certification remains in good standing, certified practitioners may use knowledge and methods taught through the applicable Evans Velo Zone® certification within their own lawful professional practice.

‍

Certified practitioners may also accurately identify themselves as having completed the applicable Evans Velo Zone® certification and may use any certification designation or credential format expressly authorized by Evans Performance®.

‍

Certification does not grant permission to:

• Reproduce or distribute certification materials
• Upload course materials to shared drives, websites, learning platforms, or repositories
• Record, copy, or redistribute course videos
• Share examination questions or answers
• Teach or sell Evans Velo Zone® certification content as an independent course
• Sublicense proprietary methodologies
• Sell proprietary EVZ™ frameworks as the practitioner’s own intellectual property
• Modify proprietary materials and redistribute them as derivative products
• Reverse engineer software, scoring systems, diagnostic logic, or platform functionality
• Create competing commercial products substantially derived from proprietary Evans Velo Zone® materials
• Use Evans Velo Zone® trademarks in a manner implying ownership, sponsorship, partnership, or authorization beyond the rights expressly granted

‍

Any broader commercial licensing, organizational implementation, teaching rights, reproduction rights, or sublicensing rights require prior written authorization from SAEvansJr Performance LLC.

‍

Certification Designation and Brand Use

Individuals who successfully complete an applicable certification may use the certification designation authorized by Evans Performance® while their certification remains in good standing.

‍

Any use of Evans Velo Zone® or Evans Performance® trademarks must accurately reflect the individual’s relationship to the certification and must not suggest ownership of the marks.

‍

Participants may not:

• Register business names, domains, social accounts, trademarks, or products incorporating Evans Velo Zone® or confusingly similar terminology without written authorization
• Represent themselves as Evans Performance® employees, agents, partners, or authorized instructors unless separately authorized
• Modify certification marks, logos, or credential graphics where official assets are provided

‍

Evans Performance® may issue additional brand-use guidelines for certified practitioners.

‍

Certification Offers and Platform Access

Evans Velo Zone® may offer certification through different purchase options. The specific benefits included depend on the offer purchased.

‍

EVZ Platform Certification — $599

The EVZ Platform Certification is an education and certification-only offering.

‍

Purchase includes:

• Access to the applicable certification curriculum
• Required assessments and examination materials
• Eligibility to earn the applicable EVZ certification designation upon successful completion of all program requirements

‍

The EVZ Platform Certification does not include access to the Evans Velo Zone® software platform unless platform access is expressly included in the specific offer presented at the time of purchase.

‍

Platform access may be purchased separately under the then-current Evans Velo Zone® subscription options.

Successful completion of the certification requirements results in an earned certification that remains subject to these Terms, applicable conduct standards, intellectual-property protections, and brand-use requirements.

‍

EVZ Certified Practitioner License — $999

The EVZ Certified Practitioner License combines:

• Enrollment in the EVZ Platform Certification
• Eligibility to earn EVZ certification upon successful completion of all certification requirements
• Twelve (12) months of access to the Evans Velo Zone® software platform
• Access to practitioner features and resources included with the License at the time of purchase

Unless otherwise expressly stated in the applicable offer, the included twelve-month platform-access period begins on the date of purchase.

‍

Certification and platform access are separate components of the EVZ Certified Practitioner License.

‍

After successful completion of the certification requirements, the certification remains earned unless suspended or revoked in accordance with these Terms.

‍

The included Evans Velo Zone® software access does not continue indefinitely. After the initial twelve-month access period, continued use of the platform requires an active Evans Velo Zone® subscription, renewal, or other applicable access arrangement at the then-current rate.

‍

Expiration, cancellation, or non-renewal of platform access does not, by itself, revoke an otherwise valid EVZ certification.

‍

Platform Access and Account Use

Access to the Evans Velo Zone® platform is licensed to the individual practitioner associated with the applicable account and may not be shared, transferred, sublicensed, resold, or used to provide unauthorized platform access to another practitioner, facility, organization, or third party.

‍

Use of the Evans Velo Zone® platform is additionally governed by the applicable:

• Terms of Service
• Privacy Policy
• System Disclaimer & Intellectual Property Notice
• Any subscription or licensing terms presented at purchase

‍

SAEvansJr Performance LLC may modify platform features, subscription options, pricing, or future renewal terms in accordance with the applicable Terms of Service.

‍

Such changes do not retroactively alter benefits expressly included in a completed purchase unless required by law or expressly agreed to by the purchaser.

‍

Platform and Methodology Scope

Evans Velo Zone® is designed for athletic development, performance analysis, training interpretation, longitudinal monitoring, and professional decision support.

‍

Certification content and platform outputs may include developmental analysis, athlete profiles, diagnostics, classifications, training-related insights, and decision-support information.

‍

Evans Velo Zone® does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, injury diagnosis, rehabilitation prescriptions, disease monitoring, or other medical services.

‍

Certified practitioners remain responsible for exercising appropriate professional judgment and operating within their education, credentials, professional scope, organizational requirements, and applicable laws.

‍

Continuing Education

Certain Evans Velo Zone® certification programs may qualify for continuing education credit through approved credentialing organizations.

‍

Continuing education credit is subject to the policies, approval periods, reporting requirements, and renewal standards of the applicable credentialing organization.

Participants are responsible for confirming whether a program satisfies the requirements applicable to their individual credential or renewal cycle.

‍

Approval for continuing education credit by a third-party organization does not constitute endorsement of Evans Performance®, Evans Velo Zone®, or any specific commercial product unless expressly stated by that organization.

‍

Payments, Refunds, Cancellations, and Renewals

Certification fees, package prices, subscription charges, payment schedules, and applicable taxes are governed by the terms presented at the time of purchase.

‍

Participants are responsible for providing accurate billing information and paying all applicable charges associated with their purchase.

‍

Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, certification enrollment is assigned to the purchaser and may not be transferred to another individual.

‍

Refund eligibility, cancellation rights, subscription renewals, and continued platform access are governed by the terms presented at checkout and the applicable Evans Velo Zone® Terms of Service.

‍

Different terms may apply to:

• Certification purchases
• Platform subscriptions
• EVZ Certified Practitioner Licenses
• Organizational licenses
• Promotional offers
• Bundled products or services

‍

Where digital educational materials, examinations, certification access, or platform services have already been accessed, refund eligibility may be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and the terms disclosed at purchase.

‍

Unless otherwise expressly stated, cancellation or non-renewal of future platform access does not revoke an earned certification.

‍

For the EVZ Certified Practitioner License, the initial twelve-month platform-access period remains governed by the terms associated with that purchase even if the purchaser elects not to renew access after the included period.

‍

Participant Conduct and Certification Integrity

Participants may not engage in conduct that compromises the integrity of an Evans Velo Zone® certification program.

‍

Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:

• Cheating or assisting others in cheating
• Sharing examination questions or answers
• Misrepresenting completion status
• Falsifying credentials
• Allowing another individual to complete coursework or assessments on the participant’s behalf
• Unauthorized copying or distribution of course materials
• Misuse of Evans Velo Zone® intellectual property
• Fraudulent or misleading use of certification designations

‍

Evans Performance® may investigate suspected violations and may request reasonable information necessary to evaluate certification integrity.

‍

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Completion of an Evans Velo Zone® certification and use of the Evans Velo Zone® platform do not guarantee:

• Athletic outcomes
• Performance improvements
• Injury prevention
• Professional advancement
• Employment
• Client acquisition
• Revenue
• Business growth
• Financial outcomes
• Certification or licensure by any third party

‍

Educational materials, platform outputs, and EVZ™ decision-support information are intended to support—not replace—the professional judgment and responsibility of the practitioner.

‍

Suspension or Revocation

Evans Performance® may suspend, restrict, or revoke certification status or platform access for material violations of these Terms, including:

• Intellectual property misuse
• Unauthorized distribution of certification materials
• Fraudulent representation of certification status
• Examination misconduct
• Unauthorized commercial use of proprietary Evans Velo Zone® methodology
• Material misuse of Evans Velo Zone® trademarks
• Conduct that materially compromises certification integrity
• Material violations of applicable platform or licensing terms
• Fraud, account sharing, or security violations

‍

Where reasonably appropriate, Evans Performance® may provide notice of the issue and an opportunity to respond before final revocation.

‍

Serious misconduct, fraud, intellectual-property infringement, security violations, or other circumstances requiring immediate action may result in immediate suspension.

‍

Certification and Platform Updates

Evans Performance® may periodically update:

• Certification curricula
• Educational materials
• Assessments
• Examination requirements
• Terminology
• Diagnostic frameworks
• Platform functionality
• Reports
• Software
• Methodology documentation
• Certification standards

‍

These changes may reflect advancements in the Evans Velo Zone® methodology, practitioner feedback, technology changes, research, regulatory considerations, or improvements to the certification experience.

‍

Certification confirms completion of the program requirements applicable at the time the participant earned the credential unless otherwise communicated.

Material changes affecting existing participants or certification status will be communicated when reasonably appropriate.

‍

Availability of Programs

Evans Performance® may add, modify, discontinue, replace, or rename certification programs, educational offerings, platform features, or related services.

‍

Discontinuation of a program does not automatically invalidate certifications previously earned in good standing unless Evans Performance® expressly provides otherwise.

‍

Changes to These Terms

Evans Performance® may update these Certification Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes to certification programs, platform services, intellectual-property protections, business practices, or legal requirements.

‍

When material changes are made, the Last Updated date will be revised.

‍

The version applicable to a specific purchase may also be subject to additional terms expressly disclosed at the time of enrollment or purchase.
