Evans Velo Zone™ was created to help coaches look beyond peak output and understand how performance is retained, transferred, developed, and re-attained over time.
Retention → Transfer → Output → Re-attainment
Building EVZ required translating applied coaching concepts into a system that could be taught, tested, and implemented through technology. I have led the development of the methodology, diagnostic logic, product architecture, practitioner workflows, certification system, and longitudinal athlete-development model while working directly with software development to turn those concepts into platform behavior.
EVZ does not replace established training methods or technology, but adds a structured developmental layer that helps turn performance evidence into clearer decisions over time.
As a Black and Filipino American founder, I also value visibility, access, and representation. As EVZ grows, I hope to create opportunities for education, mentorship, and access for emerging practitioners, particularly those underrepresented in sports performance and technology.
